Fall Books I’m Ready For

Let’s talk books publishing this fall!

Bookish Tailor Books Publishing

It’s officially fall, which means there are some exciting books publishing this season!

Let’s dive in!

Naturally, let’s start with the much-anticipated sequel to Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, Iron Flame. I haven’t written up my review of this book yet, and I definitely have thoughts, but I am eager to read the next book in the saga.

This book publishes on November 7, 2023 by Entangled: Red Tower Books and you can pre-order copies now wherever books are sold.

I will be completely honest and say I haven’t read any of V.E. Schwab’s works yet but I hear some really fantastic reviews and recommendations on her Villians series. I’m more than excited to dive into this novel which is the fourth book in the Shades of Magic universe, The Fragile Threads of Power. It already has some really great reviews and knowing her writing style, I know I’m going to love it!

This book published on September 26, 2023 with Tor Books and is available for purchase everywhere books are sold.

Listen, I love everything Cassandra Clare does and having met her once at Y’all Fest, I’m determined she’s the sweetest person alive. So to say I’m excited for Sword Catcher is an understatement.

This book publishes on October 10, 2023 by Del Rey Books, an imprint of Random House and is currently available for pre-order wherever books are sold.

I had been really eager and also terrified to dip my toes into the world of Brandon Sanderson. If you know anything about his writings, you know that it’s a commitment. So I started with his YA series, Skyward earlier this year and absolutely love it. The fourth and final installment of the series, Defiant publishes this fall and I can’t wait to dive back in.

The book publishes on November 15, 2023 by Delacorte Press, an imprint of Penguin Random House and is available for pre-order wherever books are sold.

There are so many more, I could list books all day! But I would love to hear what books you’re excited about!
